My 10 year old daughter and I used the The Missing Ring Mystery Party. We loved it. I always throw a theme party for my children's birthdays and finding a mystery party that was planned and already put together was perfect. There was very little to do when it came to wall decorations, simply because portraits were provided. Decorating the dining room and living room was fairly easy. The girls loved the fact that I dressed up and brought out my china, a crocheted table cloth, flowers and silver candle sticks to decorate the table. It made them feel very special and refined. The fun was following the script, having the girls discuss their theories, and the surprise of a ring showing up where they least expected it. My daughter had a lot of fun and so did her six dramatic friends.
I especially liked the quick and friendly response when I ordered over the phone. I will be talking to a Mother's of Preschooler's group of women in October about children's birthday parties. Simplifun is definitely on my list of party favorites!
The party went really well. They seemed to enjoy themselves very much. Thank you for the opportunity to give a print-it party. I enjoyed giving one and may do this again sometime.
I just downloaded the most current version of Adobe and got it to work. What a great idea and a great kit!!!

My daughter's party is this Friday, so I don't have much time, but we're going to make the most of it!!! I started printing out stuff yesterday, and it looks fabulous!

Thanks for offering such a great service, and I will be sure to tell my friends about you!

Thank you for the great party, The Case of The Missing Ring. The five girls who attended the sleep over really enjoyed the mystery, and resumed the activity this morning without any prompting on my part. My birthday daughter's teenage sister volunteered to act as Dame Sarah and even got up earlier than usual to resume her role. The directions and script were well organized, with all steps very manageable within the limited time available to this busy family. The only minor glitch was that we weren't entirely successful at ironing the transfers onto t-shirts. Despite a move of your facilities, the party goody bags arrived two days before the party, as promised, leaving ample time to assemble them. I have added this site to my favorites, and will definitely order another party in the future.
Hi, I'm Ellie P,

Marian is my mum and she ordered the mystery game for me. I am 10 years old and live in the UK and I played the game with my four friends (Jo Barnes, Stephanie Ramplin, Hannah Davey and Libbi Cooper) last weekend. We all enjoyed the game thoroughly. It was really fun speaking all the different parts, and at the same time trying to put on American accents. Everyone stayed over at my house for the night and we had a really yummy midnight feast. We didn't get to sleep till 3 in the morning! I liked the fact you had to say things at breakfast as well, it made the party seem twice as long.
When we got back to school, I asked everyone what they thought of it. They all gave it 10\10! In fact, my best friend (Stephanie) asked for the website where I got the game so she could get one herself. So you might find a "Ramplin" surname asking to buy a game pretty shortly! Thanks for making the game. It was the best sleepover ever!
I just wanted to let you know we had our Mystery Ring party on Saturday and it was a success! The kids liked it a lot and they really seemed to like being "in character". The only thing I would recommend to someone else is maybe not to do it until the kids are 9 or 10 since there were a few parts that a few of the kids didn't quite get (they were 7 to 8). They liked the decorations and the t-shirts and the scripts and it was a hit. Thank you so much for your help as well. I'm sure we'll be visiting your web site again for future parties.
We had a great party yesterday! We had 8 10-year old girls who had the Mystery of the Missing Ring, and they really got into it. Everyone came dressed in character with their props, and once we started the play, they came up with the most amazing deductive thinking I've ever seen! It was great. We will look at your other parties for next year! And I've told everyone I can about your company!
From a very satisfied customer!
The girls enjoyed the party as it was different and novel to them. We had to improvise a bit as we had varying # of girls as 2 had to leave early, but we made it work. T-shirt transfers were very fun.
WHEW! What a party we had! Just wanted to say thank you and how amazing and creative you all are at SimpliFun for dreaming up all of these ideas and putting all of these packages together. My family and our friends had a ball. We did everything in the package plus more of our own, including using our 7 and 9 year old daughters as helpers to Marty- they dressed up as a maid and butler. My favorite adlib to this 12-year-old-bash was that the little kids held a large silver tray and when the guests arrived, asked them to turn off their cell phones and deposit them on the tray until their departure! You can imagine the shock, but they didn't end up missing them at all and we avoided lots of problems that could have come up with them.
I had reviewed their product when we threw a NANCY DREW type MYSTERY PARTY for my TWEEN. Seriously, it was the best party I have ever thrown for my kids. Easy, innovative, fun (we're still getting compliments for it), and most of all, it made my girl feel like a star. Gosh, I'm tearing up thinking about how special she felt.
My daughter, her friends, and myself so much enjoyed this party. It kept the girls very entertained and interested the whole night and then the next morning. They giggled a lot when Gee needed to get another coke. This is wonderful kit and I recommend it to anyone who has a girl and wants to throw her an awesome birthday party.
Had a fantastic party, especially as it lasted until the following morning. All the girls got into their roles really well, as did my husband, who played Marty. I played Sarah the old women, and made it amusing as I had several pairs of funny glasses in my handbag which I kept changing, much to the amusement of the girls. I will definitely do another mystery from SimpliFun for my youngest daughter for her 10th birthday. It did take a bit of organizing but the party planner was brilliant, and made it a lost less daunting. Thank you so much for making these up and making birthdays memorable occasions.
Game was very fun all the guests came dressed up as their characters & rally practiced for the talent show. They had a great time. I would do it again
We had a great time with our "Case of the Missing Ring" party. The girls really enjoyed the playing their parts and trying to figure out were the ring was. The party was a huge success!

Instead of a fruit tray, I did fruit kabobs and the girls ate it all and I felt that there was not as much waste as there would have been if we had fruit trays. My daughter helped me with that and we stuck the kabobs in a pineapple. We had a sleepover but I was glad we decided to play it straight through without breaks (due to a couple having to go home). It kept the momentum of the mystery going.
The case of the missing ring party was a lot of fun. My 11 year old daughter and her 4 friends had a great time. My husband and I enjoyed participating as well. We all "got into character". It was a hit. Thank you for doing most of the work for me. I'll be back for the next party. Kathy
Our daughter celebrated her 12 year birthday party with your Missing Ring Mystery Party Game. The guests received their character a week in advance and enjoyed the build-up to the event. A relative in her mid fifties (unknown to the guests) played the role of Dame Sarah wonderfully. I, as the hostess, was the cook/butler. These roles worked beautifully as I was free to organize food, clean up and listen from a distance while Dame Sarah continued flawlessly in her role. The girls had fun looking in various parts of the house for the ring. Once the ring was found, Dame Sarah gave each guest a ring as a party favour. The only part I would change for future use is that of the recyling bin - it seemed confusing to go to the garage twice when it could have all been done at once. The length of the mystery was perfect - 1.5 hours. The entire evening was 4 hours and that included supper, games, dessert, presents and more games. We did not want to take a break as I was concerned the guests may not wish to return to the script. Thank you for a great party theme. We will use your ideas in the future and pass your website on to other families. It was great fun!
We orderd the Case of the Missing Ring party pack for my 11 year old daughter's birthday party. I was so pleased to find a party that catered for a small group as she only wanted her closest friends there. They were all so excited and were not at all shy at getting into character. We did not use the t-shirts as I included a few more costume pieces and props for the characters to use. I had fun playing the part of Dame Sarah and my 12 year old son played the butler, Marty. The party was a sleepover but we used the one-day script as one girl had to leave early in the morning and we wanted all the girls to be able to see the outcome of the mystery. The mystery lasted about 1 1/2 - 2 hours which was perfect. We got some antique cocktail rings on-line as party favors and the girls brought fancy clothes to wear to a traditional tea party afterwards. They loved it. I can highly recommend this party pack as it was complete and very easy to follow and took very little planning on the part of the host.
We had our party Friday night. Several of the kids showed up and told me they had to leave early in the morning so we changed the script to do the entire story Friday night. I think it worked out better because it kept the momentum going. My daughter was very pleased. It was so very different from any party they'd ever been to. They all played along, dressing up and laughing when someone messed up a line. My husband played the cook, Marty. He had no trouble with his part even though he didn't get a chance to go over it too much. It was very easy to follow. I was Dame Sarah. While she was "napping", I became Flossie the housekeeper so as not to leave my husband alone for an hour to run the show. Instead of the breakfast casserole, I did a "fancy" continental breakfast (danish, chocolate covered strawberries), which my daughter approved. Also, I printed the smaller scrapebook pictures and put them in a picture frame to use as a prop and didn't use a lot of ink.

Thanks for the kit. We had a great time. I will recommend your site to others.
